(May 19, 2009) – The Katy ISD Board of Trustees approved the district's recommendation that the district not make up the April 28 missed day, leaving May 25 and 26 as a holiday as indicated in the district calendar.

In making the decision, consideration was given to feedback received from the Katy community, along with attention to the time of year and the impact on family plans.
