My Hero is.....

• a volunteer, because they help when needed; they get the job done; they don't charge a cent; and their heart is in the right place.
• my step mom, because she married my dad who had 4 kids, and she jumped right in and treated us like her own kids!
• Superman, because he flies to the rescue of falling people, and I like his house.
• my friend, because he believes in me when I try a new trick on my skateboard.
• my mother, because she is very brave. She was brave when I got sick. She was brave when she visited her dying brother in the hospital. She was brave when she left everyone she loves and moved to Iraq.
• my dad, because he hardly gives me any chores, and lets me go over to a friend's house any time I want, and he helps me with my homework. My dad is the best dad in the world.
• Mother Theresa, because she was a humanitarian who looked beyond her own personal comfort and wordly pride to not only see the suffering of others, but to do something about it.
