Our year has gotten off to a good start.  We spent time learning procedures of the art room the first couple of days, creating portfolios and sketchbooks, and beginning on our first projects.  We have already studied or reviewed many of the principles and elements of art, such as color, line, space, shape, and emphasis.  We are now begining our introductions to painting, and soon will delve into pastels.  We are looking forward to a busy and creative year of wonderful projects.  Watch for pictures of our expressive art work as they become completed.

Our first set of art pieces to be displayed at the ESC Building will be sent next week.  Watch for the names of those that were choses for this honor.
