The next health class rotation for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be a continuation of the body systems.  We will play a review game in class on your child's next health day and then will take a quick quiz. Our next unit will cover the Heart!

 Kindergarteners, First Graders, and Second Graders are learning all about their teeth.  Not only are we concentrating on learning the parts of the teeth and their functions, but are sharing good healthy hygiene habits.  No cavities for us!

 As a part of our curriculum we are also focusing on developing good character values.  The 3-5 Grade students completed a project that emphasizes their work in this area.  Some of the work is currently displayed in the health room windows.  Please take a minute look at their finished project the next time you are on campus.  I was very pleased! This will be an ongoing project throughout the year. Students will be asked to set new goals in the areas of "Staying Healthy", "Lifestyle Skills", and "Good Character Traits" each six weeks. Take a few minutes with your child to discuss their choices and strategies for being successful.  Your encouragement will be an added plus!  Several have discussed their plans to involve you in their goals.  Good Luck!
