More Senior Information from the Counselors Office
ATTENTION SENIORS AND PARENTS OF SENIORS:
This is a reminder to keep track of your college admission/scholarship deadlines. There are two types of deadlines: 1) postmarked by and 2) received by. Our office will make sure that applications turned in on time will be postmarked by the correct date. For “received by” deadlines, however, we must allow extra time for counselor processing and mailing. Please see the chart below for the turn in deadlines for materials that must be received by specific dates.

Seniors - Watch Deadlines
College applications, scholarship applications or requests for letters of recommendation need to be turned in no less than 14 working days prior to the deadline date. Remember that Counselors do not work Holidays and weekends.
Also remember that it makes a difference is the deadline is a postmarked by date or received by date. If the deadline means that it must be received by the college you must consider the days in the mail.
