Attention Junior Parents
Junior Parent Night has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) at 6:30 pm. This will allow our counselors to give you important information in a timely manner as your student prepares for his or her senior year.
Announcing the 2009 Texas PTA Environmental Awareness Contest
This year’s theme is “100 Years from Now”. Entry forms and rules are on the CRHS PTSA website, the Main Campus Front Office and 9th Grade Center Office. Completed entries may be dropped-off Feb. 8-15th at the 9th Grade Center Office or the Main Campus Front Office. All entries are due February 15. If you have any questions, please emil Sofia Peruzzi at peruzzism@earthlink.net.
Seniors
It will soon be time for your colleges to request “Mid Year Reports” from the counselors’ office. The process is as follows:
- You may turn requests in now to receive transcripts with updated seven semesters (includes Fall 2009).
- Each request must have a “green” Counselors’ Checklist, a transcript request with postage and fees, and the printed Mid Year Report form (available online or from the individual college if not online.
- Adequate time (15 business days) must be given to the counselors’ office for completion of these forms.

Fabric Donation
The KISD Folk Life Festival Committee is collecting fabric and old sheets to make rag dolls at the festival. Last year more than 4000 people wanted to make these dolls but fabric ran low. If you have any fabric (cotton is the best) or old sheets, please call or email Sandy Edwards at 281-395-2593 or slbewards@att.net. Fabric can also be dropped off at the high school. Thank you for your generosity.

Project Grad 2010 is now collecting gently worn formal wear for our 6th Annual Cinco Formal Shoppe (formerly known as the Princess Boutique). We need formal dresses, shoes, purses, mens suits, shirts, ties, belts, and mens shoes. You may drop off your donations in the CRHS front office. We appreciate your donations.
