Entering our 8th year, the CRJH library has a collection of over 17,000 books. This includes a substantial reference collection with 835 print sources and several electronic databases, a periodical collection with 29 magazines and newspaper subscriptions to the Houston Chronicle, USA Today and the Katy Times.
Students may participate in the Accelerated Reader program which offers over 6,000 quizzes and tests on both fiction and non-fiction titles.
The Coyote's Reader's circle is a student organization in which students share their love of reading with each other and other students in our school by writing reviews of books in the CRJH library.
CRJH Coyote Bookstore
Within the library there is a bookstore that carries all instructional novels and vocabulary books that are used during the school year. Flash drives are also available for purchase.
Staff
Our library is staffed by a full-time librarian, Suzanne Freeman, who received her MLS degree from Sam Houston State University and has been a Katy ISD library Media Specialist for 12 years.
