Mrs. Leslie Smuts
Katy Elementary Principal

Mrs. Smuts is beginning her eleventh year as principal at Katy Elementary. She was also the Assistant Principal for three years. Prior to coming to KISD, she was an assistant principal in Houston ISD for 5 years. Mrs. Smuts also has 12 years of elementary classroom experience in grades 1-6. During this time, she taught bilingual first grade for 7 years.
