Military Academy Night...interested in the Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, West Point or the Coast Guard Academy? If so, then you might want to attend Military Academy Night on Tuesday, Nov. 24th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, Education Support Complex, Board Room. Representatives from each service academy will be on hand to give information and answer any questions.
Texas A & M University Student Leaders of Tomorrow (SLOT) Conference: to be held February 12-14, 2010, is a weekend event for high school juniors and seniors. It is designed to enhance traits of leadership and personal development. Registration is now open and forms are available at http://slot.tamu.edu . Space is limited and mail-in applications must be postmarked by January 15th. For questions please call 979-845-1515 and ask for a SLOT representative.
Texas A & M University Society of Women Engineers High School Conference - to be held February 12-13, 2010. Open to all male or female high school students, especially those interested in math, science, or engineering related fields. YES - Young Epidemiology Scholars
Criteria: high school junior or senior; U.S. citizen; must submit a research project that sheds light on a health problem, using the methods of analysis employed by epidemiologists
Award Amount: up to $50,000
