The Department of Other Languages is very proud to announce that Judy Whitaker ESL teacher at MCHS has been named TexTESOL IV ESOL Teacher of the Year for 2008. Ms. Whitaker was chosen from a pool of ESOL nominees from the Region IV area. Mrs. Whitaker will be recognized at TexTESOL IV’s fall conference which will be held on October 11 at The University of Houston. Mrs. Whitaker is a model for our ESOL teachers.
