PACE Pre-AP/GT P & S (1 credit): is a business education independent study course for seniors identified as GT or with a GPA of 3.8 or higher. The PACE curriculum includes career research, career exploration, study of the demands and expectations of the professional world, preparation of a research project, creation of a business plan, and presentation skills. In addition, PACE students will learn first-hand information from a variety of guest speakers. Depending on available opportunities within the student’s selected career area, the student may have the opportunity to participate in a non-paid internship program for four to six hours a week with a professional in a career the student is considering for their future.
