MCTC is a pre-professional school designed to train junior and seniors in high school for careers they will pursue after high school and post-secondary education. Students experience many aspects of a career allowing them to make better career decisions after high school. Many programs offer advanced technical credit allowing students to earn college credit. Advanced Technical Credit & College credit may be received by students completing those Career & Technical Education courses specifically designated as Advanced Technical Credit (ATC) when they are part of an Associate of Applied Science degree offered by two-year colleges. Hospitality Services I & II have local agreements with the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College and the Art Institute of Houston. Physical Education Credit - Most MCTC career courses are two or three credits and may be used to satisfy the physical education credit requirement as well as elective credits. |
