Our McDonald Panthers Football team had a season to remember in 2012. The 8th grade A-team finished the season in historic fashion posting their best record in 15 years. Their 7-1 record placed them 2^nd in our KATY ISD 13 team highly competitive district. With our new staff, new attitude, and a belief in each other, our young men made huge strides. The team was anchored by a tenacious defense, led by inside LB Dairyan “The Hit Man” Shelton and outside LB Marquise Frank, which as a whole only surrendered an average of 6 points a game.  On the offensive side of the ball, the team was led by QB Jalan Carter and RB Alvin Robinson. This offensive tandem accounted for over 80% of the scoring on a team that averaged 20 points a game. All of these young men will be sorely missed! GO PANTHERS!
