Welcome to 8th grade!

 What an exciting year for you and your student! I will be avaiable to you both  throughout the year.   

Students if you need to see me please come by the counseling office and fill out a purple slip.  If it is an emergency please knock on my door to let me know that it is crucial that you speak with me.

Parents, if you have any questions or concerns please, call me at 281-237-5333 or email me.   I am also avaiable to meet with you face to face anytime although setting up an appointment assures you I will be avaiable at that time  

My job as a school counselor is to help you through any rough spots especially those that affect your school work. 

I am looking forward to working with you both as you prepare for the transition to high school .

 My Education Background: 

This is my second year as a Counselor: however, I am not a stranger to Education or to MDJH.  This will be my fifthteenth year in  Education and my thirteenth year at McDonald Jr. High.  I have taught Physical Education, Special Education and I was also a Coach for twelve years.
