The Senior Women will participate in the Step Out Walk to Fight Diabetes tomorrow. We chose this project to rally around one of our own Senior Women that was recently diagnosed with Type I diabetes. It has been a life altering experience for her and the Senior Women hope to raise awareness about the disease and money for research in her honor.
If you would like to support the Senior Women in their walk and make a monetary contribution, please click the link below.

Would you like to help a child in Africa by donating books or school supplies? The Student Council in partnership with Katy ISD and other community support groups is collecting new or gently used children’s books and non-perishable school supplies for the children of Nri, Nigeria through a program called Books Abroad. Nri is the home of Amobi Okoye, a defensive lineman for the Houston Texans who moved to the United States when he was 12. All donations made to Books Abroad will be distributed to one of the 10 schools in Nri. These schools do not
provide books or school supplies to their students like schools in the US do, so the students only have what they can afford to purchase themselves. For a list of school supplies that they accept, please see the flyer in any of your classrooms, or check with any Student Council member. Donation boxes are located in the library, the main offices, and all administrator’s offices. Please help us collect the most donations of any high school in Katy ISD! Donations will be accepted through December 15, 2009.
