Robotics Club
Morton Ranch is starting up it’s first Robotics club – we need students that are interested to show up for an informational meeting on Thursday in room 1217, at 7:00 am or immediately after school. We are talking about 120 pound large robots, not the kind LEGO makes!
We need students to build the robot, drive the robot, program the robot, design a web page for the team, etc. There is no limit to how many students can come and help out.
If you are interested, but cannot make the meeting, talk to Mrs. Hoyt or Mr. Keiser and let them know your interest.
Bowl-a-thon
It’s Bowl-a-thon time again. The date of the Bowl-A-Thon is Saturday, November 15th. We will be bowling at West Houston Bowl or Time Square Entertainment at either 9:00am, noon, or 3:00pm. The theme this year is “Rock ‘N Bowl”. We need to form teams now in order to reserve a spot. In the past we usually form teams by department. There are 5 members per team. The cost is $15.00 per bowler -you get a shirt and it covers your shoes. This is a fundraiser for JA. Please let me know when you have your team formed and I will get you the registration information.
