Level System
Point Accumulation:
-
Students accumulate points throughout the day by period. They can obtain a maximum of 10 points per period. Points can be deducted for a variety of categories throughout each period.

Each time 3 points have been deducted from a point sheet, a principal referral is automatically given.

Principal referral equals a 5 point deduction in addition to the 3 points already deducted.

Discipline referral equals a 10 point deduction in addition to the 3 points already deducted.
Level 1
-
Student must get 85 points out of 100 to make their day.

Level 1 student is allowed a maximum of 1 principal referral per day.

Students on this level are required to carry a crate containing all their supplies.

Students move through the level system as described below.

Students are not allowed to talk during lunch.

The student must complete 10 successful days on Level 1 to advance to Level 2
Level 2

Student must get 90 out of 100 to make their day.

Level 2 students are allowed a maximum of 1 principal referral per day.
-
Students on this level are required to carry a crate containing all their supplies.

Students are allowed to talk during lunch.
-
Students gain the privilege of using the vending machines on this level during lunch.

Students may wear their own SHIRT on Friday on Level 2.

Students must complete 10 successful days on Level 2 to advance to Level 3.
Level 3

Student must get 95 out of 100 to make their day.

Level 3 students are not allowed ANY principal referrals.

Students are allowed to talk during lunch and use the vending machines, and play ping pong.

Students are given a locker at the beginning of this level. If the student loses a day on Level 3, locker privileges will be revoked and not returned.

Students are allowed to wear their own OUTFIT, including jewelry, on Friday provided that it is school appropriate and is within the KISD dress code.

Students must complete 10 successful days on this level to be considered for a 30, 45, or 60 day review.
