Welcome to the Katy ISD ROPES Website!

The ROPES Challenge Course Program, located in the heart of Katy at the Opportunity Awareness Center, is an exciting part of Katy ISD. For both students and adults, the ROPES Challenge Course offers a chance to work with peers , to solve problems , and to accomplish goals. Activities are presented in a series of icebreakers, initiatives, and low elements within a safe and encouraging environment. The activities in each program will be tailored to each group’s needs and goals.

As part of our safety standards, we operate under the philosophy of “Challenge by Choice.” This means each individual is able to choose his/ her own level of participation while remaining an important member of the group. We believe that the Challenge Course Program is and exciting and valuable tool for any group of people striving to reach their personal and group best. The benefits of this program reach far beyond school and the workplace.
