Even if you DON’T HAVE TIME TO VOLUNTEER, joining the PTA is a great way to contribute to your child’s educational experience.   Through membership dues collected, the McRoberts PTA has provided for educational and entertaining grade-level programs, treats for field day & staff appreciation, field trip transportation, additional teacher resources & much more!

Katy ISD is providing Love and Logic Parent Training in both English and Spanish this fall at several locations and times that we hope will be convenient for McRoberts parents!  See the attached brochure for more information!!!

We have launched the 2009 Take a Texan to School program! Weekly winners will receive a visit to their gym class from a Houston Texans player! The player will take part in fitness activities, talk to the students about Play 60, an NFL fitness initiative, and answer questions about football and growing up as a kid! Katy ISD is now using a visitor tracking system designed to help protect students by tracking all campus visitors, including parents, vendors and contractors.

Just for the Kids has selected McRoberts Elementary School as a 2008 Just for the Kids Higher Performing School in Texas based on its performance in Science. We selected your school as higher performing based on analyses conducted by the National Center for Educational Achievement, sponsor of the Just for the Kids Campaign.
