Texas Bluebonnet Award 2008-2009 Master List  The Texas Library Association sponsors the annual Bluebonnet Award to encourage reading for Grades 3-6 students. Students who have read at least 5 of the 20 titles are eligible to vote.

2 X 2 Reading List, 2008 The Texas Library Association sponsors this annual list and award to encourage readers age 2 through Grade 2.

Caldecott Medal Books These books are considered to be the best American picture books for children by the American Library Association.

Newbery Medal Books  American Library Association gives this annual award to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
