Grades K- 2: Tall Tale Talk Storytelling Phoebe Clappsaddle stories describes the history of the lariat, the cowboy hat, and the tumbleweed; also included a small roping demonstration with “Medium-rare” or “T-bone,” her practice bull
Grades 3 & 5: What’s Out There? Her presentation featuring Highlights from the Hubble Telescope and the six Solar System books from Children’s Press/ Scholastic; included a PowerPoint slide with views of space and her ride on NASA’s zero-gravity trainer, the “Vomit Comet” and an 8 minute video called The Power of 10. |
