Betty Sue Creech Elementary
Creech Elementary, opened in August, 2000. The building has 57 classrooms, computer center, a large music room that can be subdivided into two classrooms, two art rooms, a resource room and two 26-station computer labs. A technology center in every classroom includes three computers and two-way video transmission. The school was named in honor of long-time educator Sue Creech, who taught language arts at Katy Jr. High. Teachers and staff model the example of the school's namesake, whose most outstanding characteristic was to find each child's special gifts and build on them.

The Creech mission is to always do what is best for each child to reach his/her potential. Our vision includes providing engaging lessons to all students in a safe, secure and caring atmosphere where differences are celebrated.
Creech's values are spelled out within its mascot's name:

C ommit to do our best.
O pen our minds to new ideas.
M odel good citizenship.
E xpect all to be involved.
T reat each other with respect.
S kyrocket to academic achievement.
