Saturday, December 6th
Sign up Wednesday 7:00 AM in the Main Campus Commons on the stage. *Only morning sign up. Wednesday thru Friday sign up during lunch in both commons.
Cost is $5.00 per session.
There will be a Book Fair in the Library Thursday and Friday December 11thand 12th. Students stop by before or after school or during your lunch to shop for that perfect book or gift. Teachers stop by during your planning periods.
All items will be discounted 20% at checkout.
Seniors – Two photos are needed!!!! Please email or send a photo of yourself when you were younger. It can be a baby, toddler or school age photo. These are for the “When they were younger” section of the yearbook and should be sent to Deeann Blevins in room 1257 or deeannmblevins@katyisd.org . We also need a kindergarten photo for the senior slide show at Graduation. Send to Jane Voss in Room 2301 or email janebvoss@katyisd.org .
Yearbook ads are on sale now. The deadline to purchase an ad is November 25, the day before Thanksgiving break. For more information or to reserve your spot, contact the adviser, Dee Blevins – deeannmblevins@katyisd.org.

Homecoming Pictures have been delivered. 10-12th grades can pick them up in the Main Campus Front office and 9th graders may pick them up in the 9th Grade Front Office.
SLHS needs lifeguards for about an hour or two after school and the pay is $12.50/hr. The first training is Sunday if you are interested. Applicants must be currently certified in American Red Cross lifeguarding and CPR-For the Professional Rescuer or equivalent. Contact Gayle Jones, KISD Athletics, 281-396-7779
Do you have a textbook checked out for a class that you are no longer taking? If you do, please return the book to the textbook room #2303 as soon as possible. If you haven’t turned in your textbook condition report yet, it’s not too late! You can drop them off at the textbook room #2303. Don’t get charged at the end of the year for damages you didn’t commit because you did not turn in your textbook condition reports
Math Tutorials:
Mu Alpha Theta is offering tutorial help for all SLHS students every Thursday morning and afternoon in Room 2232. Sessions start at 6:50 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Come and see what it is all about!
ATTENTION 9TH GRADE Students that are running for a class officer position for next year. May 9th is the deadline for filing your application. Also, a copy of your grade card and speech must be attached to your application. Only those students that attended the April 25th meeting are eligible to file an application.
Speech and Debate practices are from 2:45-6:00 on Tuesdays. Anyone interested should stop by Room 2671.

Can you spare 30 minutes a few times a month after school on Tuesdays or Thursdays to help recycle? You can earn volunteer hours right here on campus. Come by 2224 today after school.
