SLHS School Supply List(2008-2009)
Online Grades:
Katy ISD is now providing on-line access to your student’s grades through the Parent Information Center (PIC). The PIC can be accessed through the KISD home page. A letter explaining the PIC and providing a onetime use PIN was sent to each SLHS family the week of January 28th. If you failed to receive a letter or lost your letter please call Leslie Flattery at 281-237-2970 to get your unique PIN. If you received your PIN but it is not working, or you have further questions, assistance can be obtained from the Instructional Technology Facilitator, Scotty Johnson, at 281-237-2967.
Retesting:
Students have the option to retest when they make a failing grade on the original test. The maximum grade on the retest is a 70. Each academic subject has a condition the student must meet before the student can retest.
For example, Geometry may require that students attend a tutorial prior to retesting. Retesting occurs Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoon at 2:45 in room 1674. The retesting center is staffed by one or more SL instructional staff members. It is the student responsibility to request a retest and the teacher responsibility to provide a copy of the test and answer sheet to the retesting center.

Recently added to our campuses, Raptor is a new visitor tracking system designed to help protect our students by tracking all campus visitors, including parents, volunteers, vendors and contractors.

Parent Volunteers are welcome at Seven Lakes in all areas from school support - Library, Spar Mart, Office, Workroom to club support - Academic Decathalon, Speech and Debate, Band, Choir, Orchestra, Theater, Athletics and Sapphires. There is a place here at Seven Lakes for your service. JOIN US!
