Welcome to the Space Club
“Have you ever gazed up into the sky and wondered what lies behind that blanket of darkness? Ever guessed how long it takes for the sun to complete one revolution around the Milky Way galaxy; or how a nebula is formed? If you want to know the answers and theories to such exciting and puzzling questions, come and join us in our Space Club, where we dwell in space, among the spaces of our classroom. ”
The Space Club is the new student led organization started in Seven Lakes High School by Joshua Alphonso who has founded the club and is now the President. Take the journey into space through interactive discussions and power point presentations. Throughout the time in the club, we will be discussing topics like Black holes, the relativity effect, and the Big bang theory.
Usually, the club gathers together on Mondays of every week and the president usually provides refreshments for all members. Then Joshua Alphonso leads the discussions as we talk about some of the greatest wonders of space. The other members join in the discussions and we usually all learn a lot through questions and further debates. There is usually something new that we learn each week.
Ultimately, the space club serves as a way for friends who have a common interest in Space to hang out and yet take on the fun responsibility to learn and venture out into space.
