Project Graduation   Class of '09
(Katy ISD is not responsible for the content on external websites or servers.)

Calling all incoming Senior Parents!!!

Project Graduation is the all-night party following graduation on Friday, June 5, 2009.  It is chaperoned by parents at an off-campus location, and provides a fun night for the graduates to have a last big party together as a class in a safe, secure environment.  The event requires significant planning, as well as fundraising which is done at special events throughout the school year.

Project Graduation '09 has had two parent meeting thus far (February 18 & April 28).  We had a good turnout of people who came ready to volunteer, which was fantastic!  We still need many more volunteers, though.  It will take everyone's participation and ideas to make Project Graduation 2009 a success.

Check out the Project Grad '09 website above for more details, committee and contact information, and how to volunteer!  Other questions?  Contact Project Grad '09 Chair, Shirley Thomas, at 281-599-0414.

FAFSA information available at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

Attention: Parents of Seniors and those with students currently in college.

If your student will attend college, technical, vocational, or career school in 2008, and aid is requested, the U. S. Dept. of Education requires a Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) form be submitted.  Historically, 42% are filed with errors resulting in seriously delayed processing.  As financial aid is often awarded "first come, first serve," errors are costly for Katy ISD families.  The FAFSA is accepted beginning January 2!
