 Welcome Speech and Debate parents to the 2008/09 school year.

Speech & Debate Tournament Schedule 08-09

The Booster Club supports Taylor’s awarding-winning Speech and Debate department by: 

·       providing hospitality for the Junior and High School Debate Tournaments (over 1,000 students attend these tournaments) hosted by the school;

·       raising funds for supplemental department needs, such as tournament fees and expenses;

·       granting student scholarships. 

 Taylor Speech and Debate Department’s most recent accomplishments are:

·       7^th Place 2003 and 2004 National Tournament of Champions

·       Semifinalist 2005 National Tournament of Champions

·       Finalist 2003 NFL Nationals

·       7^th Place 2005 NFL Nationals

·       10 or more TFA State Qualifications annually since 2002

·       14 National Tournament of Champions Qualifications in the last 3 years

·       2 or more National Forensic League Academic All-Americans 2003-2007
