Dance Team - Pacesetters

Pacesetter tryouts are open to any 9th, 10th or 11th grade student who is interested in being a part of a spirit dance group representing THS. A mandatory parent information meeting is held in early March informing parents of financial obligations, mandatory events, and requirements of the team members. A week long clinic is held after school to prepare the girls for try-outs on that Friday. The try-outs are held in March. Pacesetters is a year-round activity.

2010-2011 National Champions - Pacesetters

Congratulations to our NATIONAL CHAMPION Pacesetter Dance Team! Recently, our Pacesetter's participated in competition at the largest national dance team competition in the United States. Our Team, Officers and Ensembles placed first in almost every division they entered. Furthermore, the Dance Officers had the highest scores of the ENTIRE contest! For this honor, they each were awarded letter jackets that say "National Champions" on the back. Furthermore, we were informed that their scores were the highest scores EVER earned by ANY group in the 35 year history of the MA Dance contest company. Out of a total 900 points, our students earned an 897; an incredible accomplishment.
