HOSA is a national leadership organization specifically for secondary and post-secondary students enrolled in Health Care Science classes. $15 membership fees enroll them at the local, state national levels. Students meet occasionally, after school. Tentative plans include involvement in a local charity, arranging volunteer opportunities at local health care facilities and faculty Blood Pressure screening. A major part of HOSA is the competitions held each spring. A fundraiser is planned for the winter to raise money for the State competition.
