Course Overview

AP Human Geography is the study of people from a spatial and ecological perspective.  People are central to geography in that their activities help shape the Earth’s surface largely through their interaction. (de Blij and Murphy)  To put it simply, AP Human Geography attempts to answer the question ‘Why things are where?.

The class will follow the College Boards Outline for the AP Exam, which will take place in May.  I will give more details as the class goes along.  The AP exam consists of a one hour, 75 - 85 multiple choice question section and a 1 hour, 3 Free Response question section.
