SOUTHWEST BOOK FAIR COMES TO WOODCREEK!
WoodCreek Elementary will host a Southwest Book Company Book Fair from Monday, November 16 through Friday, November 20, 2009. The Book Fair will be open Tueseday from 8:00a.m. until 8:00p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 until 4:00, and Friday, November 20, from 9:00a.m. until noon. This event encourages young readers by bringing them some of the newest titles from more than 150 publishers. Students, parents, and teachers can find old favorites and the latest works by popular authors and illustrators, including Newbery, Caldecott, and Bluebonnet award winners.
Students’ classes will be visiting the book fair on Monday, November 16, to give each child a chance to see what items will be on sale. Students may make purchases beginning Tuesday morning at 8:00 through noon on Friday. If you send your child to school with money to purchase a Book Fair item, please be sure that it is in an envelope clearly marked. Checks, made payable to WoodCreek Elementary School, may be sent as well.
Our LATE NIGHT will begin Tuesday at 4pm and run through 8:00 that evening.
