NHS Juniors
your first meeting will be Monday, Sep 8 at 7:00 am or 2:45 pm in the LGI. We will discuss officer elections, collect summer hours forms and distribute t-shirts at this meeting. Be there!
School Picture Make-up Day and Pick-up Day
School Pictures will be available for pickup on the stage during lunches on Wednesday, September 10, Thursday, September 11, and Friday, September 12. School Picture Makeup Day is Monday, September 15. Picture order forms are available in the front office. You may pay by credit card at payments.lifetouch.com. Follow online instructions, write online payment code on order form, and bring completed order form to Picture Day.
Best Buddies
Our first meeting will be this Friday, Sept 5, in room 1232. Come either before school at 6:50am or after school at 2:45. Join us and hear about all the fun events we have planned for the year! New members are always welcome!
Cougar Football
The game this week is against Cy-Springs at the Berry Center at 7:30 on Friday Sept. 5. Tickets are 7.00 for adults and 4.00 for students, on sale during lunches Thursday and Friday in the main rotunda and 9th grade center.
DARE Role Models
Friday is the deadline to turn in DARE applications to Mrs. Cox’s room, Room 1004. Applications turned in past Friday, September 5, will not be processed.
Students, are you fluent in more than one language?
Would you like to get foreign language credit on your transcript for what you already know? Come by the main counselors’ office to pick up an application to take a CREDIT BY EXAM. Be sure to get these applications filled out right away so that you can take the test on Thursday, September 11. Ask your foreign language teacher or your counselor for more details!
Student Council
Your first meeting will be held in room 1629 on Friday, September 5 from 7:05-7:20am OR 2:45-3:00pm. Please come and learn about the organization, the membership qualifications, and the 2008-09 t-shirt information. If you would like to join on Friday the membership fees, which includes a t-shirt, will be $20. Hope to see you there!
Senior Yearbook Deadline
Seniors! The deadline for taking your yearbook senior photo is Monday, September 15. If you did NOT have your yearbook senior photo taken this summer, please call Prestige Photos to schedule this before the September 15 deadline. Prestige Photo is located on Mason Road at the Equestrian Center next to Grade Fellowship Church. The number to call to schedule your senior yearbook photo shoot is 281-492-9361.

They will be sold Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the main Commons; Tuesday and Thursday in the freshman cafeteria. The last day of sales will be Sept 12, which is coming up very fast!
Lacrosse Team Registration
Registration for Cinco Ranch Lacrosse 2008-2009 season will be September 13th (Saturday) at 22910 Deforest Ridge Lane (77494). Come meet the coaches and ask questions between 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Plastics Recycling
Please note that there are some 55 gallon barrels up and down the halls, in the rotunda and in each café that are designated for PLASTICS ONLY. Do your part to help our Earth!
Mandatory ID Badges
Effective immediately, all students must present their school ID when checking into after school detention and Saturday detention. Students who report without an ID will not be permitted to enter and will be referred to the grade level AP for failure to serve. If you have lost your ID, replacements cost $3 and may be requested at any time through the main campus front office. Replacement IDs are available for pick-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
