6th Annual Holiday Parade of Homes

Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Holiday Parade of Homes sponsored by the CRHS Cougars Stars! This traditional holiday event is a Katy favorite! Come December 3rd or 4th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM to see five area homes that are sure to dazzle and get you in the Christmas spirit! Tickets are available November 11 through your favorite Cougar Star or the following retailers: Beau Kisses (La Centerra), Hauerlands (Mason Road), Juliegh Holley’s School of Dance (Old Town Katy) or Ya Ya Club (Villagio). See you there!
Book Check
starts Monday, November 9-13. Bring your books to your classroom. If you have any textbooks, which you are not currently enrolled in that class, please bring to the textbook room to avoid a hold being put on your exemption card!!! This includes Miller classes!!!! Avoid fines and cover your books! There are book covers in Room #2229.
The Literary Magazine
has a meeting right after school on Friday, November 6 in Room 1622.

Best Buddies
Our monthly general meeting will be on Thursday, November 5. Choose one of the two meeting times: either before school at 7 or after school at 2:45. Meetings are held in room 1202. Hear important information about our next event – our annual Thanksgiving Feast, and see how you can get involved.
Multicultural Club
Today we will celebrate Asian-American Heritage and contributions with a photostory and social. We hope you enjoy both. If you are inspired, join the fun. Meetings are held every other Thursday in room 1229.

is having a meeting this Thursday in room 1310 after school. Sophomores- don’t forget to turn in your permission slips to the Counselors’ office so that you can go on the Miller Career and Technology Center Tour. The deadline to turn in your permission slips has been extended until Friday, November 6.

Boys’ basketball tryouts
will be held this Friday November 6 from 1-4pm and also on Saturday November 7 from 7-10 am. You must attend both days of tryouts in order to be eligible for a team. You also must have a physical on file with the athletic trainer. If you have any questions contact Coach Porter in room 2626 or Coach Stahl in room 1612.
The Class of 2012
would like to help Texas Children’s Hospital Dialysis Unit patients by collecting candy. The candy is given to the dialysis patients to help them relax while they are on the dialysis machine. Starting next week bring bags of candy to your second period class. Some suggestions would be Sweetarts, Laffy Taffy, Air Heads, Skittles, Starbursts, Jolly Ranchers and anything else like that. No chocolate or peanut candy please. The class with the most candy collected will win a donut/kolache party. Thanks for helping the Class of 2012 support this special group of kids.
Fitnessgram
On Friday, November 6th, all students should wear dress code length shorts or sweat pants, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes to participate in the Fitnessgram Physical Fitness Assessment. Read more...
Period 2.5
Students, your Advisory Period will resume on Monday, November 9th as Period 2.5. Seniors, you will get information from Herff Jones regarding your cap and gown. Students, Parents, Teachers and Community Members
Cinco Ranch High School is collecting books and school supplies for the children of Nri in Southern Nigeria. Please bring new and gently used books and teaching materials, as well as new school supplies to any of the following drop off areas: Main Campus Front Office, 9th Grade Center Front Office, Junior Office (1211), or the Bookroom (2229). Yearbook Orders
Orders for the 2010 Panorama yearbook can be placed online at www.smart-pay.com (don’t forget the hyphen). Use your student ID number as the student number for placing an order. Follow the directions on the website and get your order in for the 2010 Panorama yearbook. The cost is $65 and the yearbooks are distributed in May.
