May 31                 Last Day of School – Early Dismissal 11:35

Attention Students and Parents,

The following information is provided to assist you in preparing for the last week of school. Everyone’s cooperation in adhering to the guidelines is appreciated.

                                                                                                CRJH Administration Staff

1.       Semester exams for 8^th grade content and high school credit courses begin Friday, May 25^th. The exam schedule has been published separately and is also on our CRJH website at www.katyisd.org.

2.       All projects, locker organizers, supplemental materials etc. must be taken home by Wednesday afternoon, May 30th.  All musical instruments will go home by Wednesday afternoon.

3.       On Thursday, May 31^st students will bring only pen/pencil to school and any remaining textbooks to check in. Teachers will provide all materials needed for the lessons planned on May 31^st. Girls may bring a purse if needed, but no backpacks, athletic bags, carryalls, etc. should be brought on Thursday, May 31^st. Lockers will not be used on Thursday, May 31^st.

4.       Students who need to ride a bus other than their own on Thursday, May 31^st must turn in a note to the front office from their parent, signed and including a Thursday morning phone number, before school on Thursday, May 31^st. Bus notes will be delivered to students during the morning.

5.       Cameras, toys, food items etc. are not allowed. Items of this type which are taken up from students must be claimed by a parent at a later time; they will not be sent home with the student.

6.       All home copies of Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science textbooks must be returned to the teacher of record by the date specified by the teacher and no later than Wednesday, May 30th. Students who do not return textbooks issued as home copies will be required to pay for the book(s).

7.       Regular school dress code is in effect. Students are expected to adhere to all classroom and school rules. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

8.       School will dismiss at 11:35 on Thursday, May 31^st. No lunch will be served.
