The Katy ISD summer break starts June 5 and continues until the first day of the 2009-10 school year, which is August 24. A limited staff will be on campus during the summer but most student-related personnel will be gone. 

As we near the 2009-10 school year, please check back here to view important updates regarding various events and deadlines. Also, check Katyisd.org for registration information as well as district-wide events such as open houses, orientations, school supply lists, and transportation information. In addition, you can access our parent programs such as the Parent Information Center and MealPay from the district website.

  ATTENTION: INCOMING KINDERGARTENERS AND PRE-K STUDENTS FOR 2009-2010

Exley Elementary will hold Kindergarten orientation on Monday, March 30th at 6:00pm in the gym.  Incoming Kindergarteners may attend.

Kindergarten registration will be held on Thursday, April 2nd from 9:00-11:00 and 1:00-3:00 in the LGI.  Entering Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.

Pre-K registration will be held on Thursday, April 16th form 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-3:00 in the LGI.  Entering Pre-K students must be 4 years old on or before September 1st.  Also, your child must be present if qualifying by language.

 Things to bring to registration:

·         Original birth certificate

·         Immunization records

·       Social security card

·         Parents drivers license

  • Proof of residence

(Current utility bill or lease, phone or cable not accepted.)
