Full Day Students: Class day is from 7:20 - 2:40.
Part Day Students: First period students will stay until 9:50. Students arriving for fourth period or fifth period arrive at 11:20 and 12:15 respectively and stay until the end of the school day.
End of School Day: Buses will NOT transport students back to their home campus at the end of the school day. Bus riders will be dropped off at drop off points through the district utilizing the MCTC/OAC bus routes.

All students will report to home campus for home room/instructions on the first day of school. Buses will be provided for transporting students to Miller after this instructional period is over in the morning.

The Katy ISD summer break starts June 5 and continues until the first day of the 2009-10 school year, which is August 24. A limited staff will be on campus during the summer but most student-related personnel will be gone. 

As we near the 2009-10 school year, please check back here to view important updates regarding various events and deadlines. Also, check www.katyisd.org for registration information as well as district-wide events such as open houses, orientations, school supply lists, and transportation information. In addition, you can access our parent programs such as the Parent Information Center and MealPay from the district website.

Regular Supplies: Due to the unique career courses offered at MCTC, a school-wide supply list will not be  published.  Please bring a spiral notebook and pen/pencil the first day of school. Teachers will inform students about supplies needed for each class.

Special Supplies/Fees: A class fee is associated with Audio Engineering, Automotive Collision & Refinishing, Automotive Technician, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts I & II, Health Science Technology, Hospitality I & II, Media Technology I & II and Ready, Set, Teach!. Fees are not due until after the start of school. Please refer to the course catalog or contact the teacher directly regarding the amount of this fee and its due date. Student organization fees for: Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) for Culinary Arts and Ready, Set, Teach!; The National Association of Marketing Students (DECA) for Hospitality; Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) for Health Science Technology; and SkillsUSA for Cosmetology and Automotive Technology will be discussed when school begins.
