Students are required to be in possession of their school ID at all times, bring black and blue ball point pens, number two pencils, and paper. Individual courses may require additional supplies. Teachers provide students with those requirements on the first day of class. | |

Congratulations to Ivan Gonzales-Tucker (SLHS), Beatrice Wilson (MCHS), Meagan Peoples (KHS), Wilson Suliveras-Escobar (THS), and Gabriela Calzada (SLHS) who were named best high school ProStart culinary team in Texas. Each student received a $10,000 scholarship. At the national competition, MCTC's team placed 11th out of 41 teams. In addition, Maegan Peoples placed 1st in the state in the FCCLA State Mystery Basket competition. Well done, all! | |

Gabriel Traknyak, a second-year engineering student and senior at SLHS, placed first among 100 students in the greater metro area in a predigious design competition sponsored by the American Institute of Architecture. The 3-month-long project involved designing a new museum across from the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. His project is on display at the downtown office of the Architecture Center of Houston. Congratulations to Kim Hammond, Chas Hearn, Joshua McGregor, Jose Ndinofina for receiving a superior rating and qualifying to compete at the state leve at a recent SkillsUSA competition. Also to team partners Shadi Hamed and Michael Cano and Oscar Maldonado and Matthew Rivera who received multiple superior ratings on their projects, earning MCTC two award plaques for the school. Congratulations to all!

The LAMBS crew operates the video board at Rhodes Stadium. Students sign up to be part of the crew for each football game to run the five live-action cameras and control functions such as instant replay, commercials, splash video graphics, or serve as Technical Director. Skills prepare students for professional employment in such areas as television production, live action sports, commercials, studio production and work on both independent and professional films. | |

| Full Day Students: Class day is from 7:20 - 2:40.
Part Day Students: First period students will stay until 9:50. Students arriving for fourth period or fifth period arrive at 11:20 and 12:15 respectively and stay until the end of the school day. End of School Day: Buses will NOT transport students back to their home campus at the end of the school day. Bus riders will be dropped off at drop off points through the district utilizing the MCTC/OAC bus routes. | |
