Are you volunteering today?
That’s a question all visitors will hear every time they enter the building this year. Why? For the 2010-2011 school year, Katy ISD will continue to tally all on-campus, school-day volunteer hours through our Raptor visitor check-in system. Off-campus, after-hours time will still be collected by campus Volunteer Coordinators.
So, when you visit campus to volunteer, be it for the workroom, library, volunteer meetings, class parties, attendance office, hospitality, Junior Achievement, KEYS mentoring, or any other volunteer function, your time in the building will be automatically tallied. All you have to do is answer “Yes!” with a smile.
Please be aware that due to confidentiality, visitors/parents may not use video recorders, voice recorders or cameras on campus unless a performance is open to the public. Examples of public performances are evening events such as choir performances or outdoor events such as field day. Thank you for your cooperation!
