The Katy ISD summer break starts June 5 and continues until the first day of the 2009-10 school year, which is August 24.

A limited staff will be on campus during the summer but most student-related personnel will be gone. 

As we near the 2009-10 school year, please check back here to view important updates regarding various events and deadlines. Also, check Katyisd.org for registration information as well as district-wide events such as open houses, orientations, school supply lists, and transportation information. In addition, you can access our parent programs such as the Parent Information Center and MealPay from the district website.

Homeroom Teacher Assignments
Elementary parents will receive a mailed postcard in mid-August with homeroom teacher assignments for 2009-10. Class lists will no longer be publicly posted on campuses.
