VIPS Events

Each year, Katy ISD Partners in Education hosts several events for Katy ISD volunteers. They are:

• Volunteer (VIPS) Kick-Off is coordinated by individual Katy ISD campuses, with the assistance of the Campus VIPS Coordinator, Campus VIPS liaison and the Parent Organization President. Read some testimonials from Katy ISD parents about thier own volunteer experiences on our Kick-Off page.

• Discover U, the annual Katy ISD conference held in the fall, to which all Katy parents, volunteers and community members are invited to attend. Mark your calendars now! Discover U 2008 will be held on Friday October 24, 2008.

• VIPS Celebration Breakfast held in the Leonard E. Merrell Center each spring commemorates volunteerism, and announces each campus 'Volunteer of the Year'. All registered Katy ISD volunteers are welcome to attend.
