Volunteering in Katy ISD

Volunteers In Public Schools    Want to know what’s so great about being a Katy ISD VIPS? No matter how much your schedule allows you to volunteer – 20 hours per week or one hour per year – you’re sending your child, and other children, a very clear message that school is important and you choose to do your part. You’re helping to create a whole new generation of volunteers who someday will be helping at their own children’s schools.

To find out how you can volunteer at your child's school, please contact your campus VIPS Coordinator. If you don't know your campus VIPS Coordinator, contact your school administration, parent organization (PTA, PTO, PTSA, TPA) or email Martha Brown in the PIE Office.

Do you have questions about volunteering in the Katy ISD VIPS program?  The answer may be found on the FAQ page.

VIPS is for all volunteers!  Booster Club volunteers and parents who support all student organizations and activities are VIPS, too.

All the hours you spend supporting the booster clubs and all other student programs by fundraising, chaperoning, sorting uniforms, making phone calls, making mums and selling tickets for the many events on the school calendar are all reportable hours. Please report them to your campus VIPS Coordinator. Click here to read more about volunteer hours.
